This native dogwood has purplish red fall foliage. The numerous reddish stems add nice winter interest. Here are the reddish twigs in contrast to a blue scrub jay in mid-winter. Small clusters of white flowers are not showy but the berries that follow are loved by birds. Nice as a specimen plant or in a large hedge.
